![]() Of course, of late, Ubisoft’s business seems to be strewn with struggles, delays, and the cancellation of projects, so… It may seem bizarre, leaving it so late to reveal the season update, but that’s Ubisoft’s business, not ours. This huge update, dubbed Reign of Fire, was set to launch on February 7th, but of course, like so many things in the industry recently (like Star Wars Jedi Survivor), it was unfortunately delayed.Īt present, little is known about the content dropping in the Reign of Fire update, as a live stream was supposed to uncover everything on the 6th, the day before the update was due to drop. So, by trying to fix the initial issue that caused the first delay, the developers introduced another issue that caused another issue – and that’s why your major update for The Division 2 is delayed again! As a result, we cannot update teh game until this system has been rebuilt. In the process of creating the update which would resolve the issue, we encountered an error that brought down the build generation system for The Division 2. In a statement published on Twitter, The Division 2’s development team updated the community on this sad, sad situation. It’s a vicious cycle that has led to another delay of the Season 11 update, which fans are not best pleased about. In a bizarre set of circumstances, The Division 2’s developers delayed the update, then broke the updater software, and now they must update or fix the updater software in order to release the update off the back of it. There’s a major season update due to be dropped, but the developers have reportedly broken the game – or at least, the infrastructure powering the game – and they are now completely unable to release said update. The Division 2, Ubisoft’s live-service, tactical-shooter MMO, is in a broken state.
